The retro casio vintage watch is making a comeback, and now more than ever these watches are top of the line luxury timepieces that look great on anyone's wrist. Casios were originally created in 1959 by Casio Computer Co., Ltd. A Canadian company which was established in 1946 as an importer/exporter of several products including calculators and typewriters, with its first calculator sold six years later being among one of the earliest electronic pocket computers designed for home use.

The "most expensive vintage casio watch" is a popular watch that has been making a comeback. The price range for the most expensive vintage casio watch ranges from $10,000 to $100,000.

Casio watches from the past are resurfacing!

Although Casio is best known for their G-Shock watches, the company has been producing digital timepieces since the 1970s.

You may have memories of the vintage Casio digital quartz watches made of plastic that had a clear time display, a backlight, and buttons on the side. With their simplicity and flair, they are almost impossible to miss.

They are so classic that you may still see individuals wearing them now as a declaration of their own sense of style.

Despite the fact that his fiancée thinks it's uncool, a buddy of mine wears one every day!

What does she really know? A Casio digital watch is one of the greatest methods to assert that the retro trend is back. Furthermore, because they are digital, you won't need to use your watch repair kit as frequently—maybe only to replace the battery.

What models are thus now offered online? Let's have a look...

1. Digital watch Casio F-91W-1 1.

If we are going to talk about Vintage Casio timepieces, then I have to start with the classic to beat all classics – the F-91W. It has long been a staple of Casio fans, and has even been seen on the wrist of Obama, when he was a school. You can read a more detailed review of it here.

Of all the Casios, it is undoubtedly one of the most straightforward, affordable, and classic. A straightforward black resin case and band that displays the time (12 or 24 hour time), the day, the date, and an alarm.

What more could you possibly want from a basic, almost disposable watch?

  • Japanese quartz clock
  • Crystal Mineral
  • Rubber casing and strap
  • a stopwatch, an alarm, and lighting
  • Size of case: 35 x 8 mm

2. A168WA-1 Casio Vintage

This vintage timepiece is unquestionably the one for you if you want the classic Casio style but also want to wear it to work.

You could almost mistake it for a dress watch with the all-stainless steel case and strap. It does, of course, have a digital display with day and date, much like other early Casios. It also has a variety of buttons that may be used to run a stopwatch, set those two, and illuminate the dial in low light.

And with a watch like this costing only a handful of ten dollar bills, how can you go wrong?

Note: The A158WA-1DF, which I've linked to below, is a comparable model that also comes in a wide variety of colors.

  • Japanese quartz clock
  • Crystal Mineral
  • Case and bracelet made of stainless steel
  • a stopwatch, an alarm, and lighting
  • Size of case: 32 x 7 mm

Remember when calculator watches from the 1980s were worn only by nerds at school? Those times are long gone, and now, everyone is sporting some kind of wrist-mounted gadget, even if it's an Apple watch.

The joy of being able to use my watch for more than just telling the time in math class when I was younger is brought back to me by this antique model. Of course, it has the stopwatch and alarm typical of a Casio digital watch.

And, unlike the model above, it is more like a true 1980s Casio with the all black Rubber casing and strap.

  • Japanese quartz clock
  • Crystal Mineral
  • Rubber casing and strap
  • Alarm, stopwatch, calculator, and backlight
  • Size of case: 42.0 x 33 x 7.0 mm

The majority of women may like this gold Casio watch, but that is just an assumption I'm making.

It's a great touch that the buttons and portions of the writing have the same gold color as the case and band.
