A watch is a timepiece that has both the means to measure and display the passage of time. Watches are typically worn on one wrist, normally on the left arm but can also be found attached either to clothing or bags by chains.
The “luch watches” are a collection of unique timepieces that are made for single-handed use. They come in many different styles and colors, making them a great option for anyone looking to add some style to their wardrobe.

9 watches with a single hand
Single-hand watches were formerly quite uncommon, but now it seems like they’re all the rage. Having saying that, finding a single hander is still difficult since so few companies produce it. Since most people want their watches to indicate the time precisely, having only one hand might often make that task more difficult.
Of course, how the markers are employed, as well as their quantity and fineness, all have a role. While some, like the 24 hour watches, are quite precise to read, others are far more approximative.
Let’s look at your possibilities for a one-handed watch, from the depths of the old Soviet Union in Belarus to the booming German watch industry.
Luch One Hand 1.
The Luch is one of the first timepieces that come to mind when discussing one-handed watches. The firm was founded in 1956 and was one of the former Soviet watchmakers that the Swiss company Franck Müller later acquired.
The Luch is a fantastic choice for about $100 if you want a very straightforward, inexpensive example of a one-hander, combined with something a bit different!
Of course, you get what you pay for, and although being sturdy, this watch is renowned for being quite inaccurate. It is a little manual wound watch, so you can’t really complain, but.

Luch Speed Mechanical 2.
This Luch variant, which has the same 1801.1H in-house mechanical hand-wind movement, has a sportier design.
They went quite contemporary with this watch, as seen by the dial and strap, with a nice minute/hour train around the dial that ends in a red three-hour area. Given the dark dial and the fact that a single hand watch is often tougher to see, the hand is not as distinct as I would prefer.
The strap is strong, stitched black leather with perforations, making it highly contemporary.
For individuals who really wish to stand out from the crowd, this model is also available in a white variety.

3. One Hand Watch by Slow Jo
To encourage us all to move a bit more slowly, Slow decided to design a watch. We all make an effort to keep time precisely on track as we rush to our next meeting. However, while using a single hander that shows 24 hours, you are compelled to relax a bit. The creators of Slow have that in mind.
One of their early timepieces, the Jo, had an octagonal case, a simple dial with one hand (obviously), and a basic leather band. The Quartz mechanism is made in Switzerland by Ronda, and the watches are created and put together there.
If you don’t like this model or version of Slow, explore the collection to discover others. A couple more are provided below to get you going.

4. Single Hand Watch, Slow O 15
If octagons aren’t your thing, Slow also has an extended spherical casing that could be more appealing to you. An tribute to simplicity should start with the name as this model is named the “O,” right? You should also have a look at their wonderfully rounded “Round” model.
The dial has a modest dark blue design and attached markings that are rose gold in hue, which perfectly matches the crown. The brown single-width hard complements the brown leather belt well.
Slow always chooses the Ronda Quartz mechanism inside to keep the time accurate and the casing thin. With these watches being far under the $500 threshold, it also helps to keep the pricing a little cheaper.

MeisterSinger manufactures a wide selection of single hand watches, but at much greater cost. The majority of their timepieces cost between $1,000 and $2,000, but the quality is unquestionably high.
One of their most straightforward and understated timepieces, the Panagaea has a magnificent Anthracite sunburst display with legible white markings and Arabic numbers. Naturally, the single hand is big, white, and has a sharp tip that makes it easier to determine the time precisely—or as accurately as you can with only one hand!
Not only does this watch have a great appearance, but it also has high-end features including a Crystal Sapphire that resists scratches and a Swiss automatic, self-winding mechanism. The strap matches the dial well and is made of black leather with white stitching.

IBSO BOERNI AIBISINO 6.
This single-hander from IBSO, which retails for much less than $50, is a shining example of the inventiveness of the new generation of Chinese watchmakers.
Without any numerals, reading may be a little too difficult, but the white hand is unquestionably well contrasted. The idea behind this watch is somewhat unique compared to the typical one-handed watch. The minute is shown by the hand, while the hour and a half are displayed in the window by the pointer at nine o’clock. The minute hand may not be that crucial after all.

Skagen Horizont, No. 7
I’ve evaluated Skagen previously, and they build simple watches well. So it comes as no surprise to me that they also have a single hander, even if these are hard to find.
The clean white dial and basic circular crystal hour markers on this women’s model (there is also a men’s) make it a very stunning and contemporary timepiece. The circular, curving rose gold case has projecting lugs and a delicate gold crown. The strap is made of leather and is thin and basic, complimenting the elegance of the ensemble.
The lack of indications to assist determine the time, other than very approximately, is the only drawback I can see with this specific model. So, in case you need to take a train, be sure to carry your phone with you as a backup!

Defakto Eins 9.
Defakto, a German company, produces a few one-hand watches. One of their simplest models, the “Eins” (one in German), resembles a Swiss railway clock (if you have ever seen Mondaine clocks or watches).
The large clock-like black and white hand and simple black hour markers scream clock face to me from a distance. The thick silver case and simple black leather belt help to accentuate the overall feeling too.
This watch can only be purchased via the Defakto website or sometimes on Ebay, thus I suppose it must be transported from Germany.
